Meet Edmondo, our Italian Restaurant in Bank
Inspired by Piero Portaluppi’s iconic Villa Necchi Campiglio, Edmondo is a Grade II-listed Italian restaurant and temple to regional produce. Slap-bang in the middle of Bank in the City of London, this is where Piazza Duomo meets the Square Mile. Behind the open kitchen, Chef Alfonso fires up the pans to treat guests to an authentic Italian dining experience. Start with our Crudo di Pesce carpaccio dressed with fresh citrus and chives, or delicate Cornish crab served alongside crostini and endive. Per primo? Our chefs craft and roll fresh handmade pasta daily: think bold green gnocchi tossed in Gorgonzola sauce from trusted produttore Gelmini, Paccheri in rich Bolognese ragù, and classic Spaghetti alle Vongole with fresh clams. For mains, explore our Italian grill selection - from a 1.2 kg T-bone Fiorentina steak for the table, to Alfonso’s take on Roman Scottadito di Agnello and grilled turbot fillet in beurre blanc.
Before closing your culinary tour d’Italia, explore our dessert menu with artisan Fruttini or a warm Tortino al Cioccolato. Best paired with signature cocktails - like a twisted Nocino Old Fashioned or a Tris di Espresso Martini - to sip in our moody after-dark cocktail bar, Il Salotto, or our discreet City rendezvous, Il Ridotto.

From freshly baked focaccia, 36-month-aged Prosciutto di Parma, and creamy Mozzarella Campana, to daily fresh homemade pasta like our decadent white truffle Fettuccine, right through to a prime 1.2kg T-bone Fiorentina steak and flame-grilled secondi - every dish is crafted con tanto amore by Chef Alfonso and his kitchen team.

Bookings are available only on our website. Please note we open bookings 30 days in advance at 9am. If the website doesn’t show you a specific time slot, it does unfortunately mean we are fully booked. We also accept walk-ins, subject to availability!
Any amendments (including date, time and number of guests) can only be made by the customer via the confirmation email. If no availability is shown, it means we are fully booked, and cannot make further amendments. Please note your confirmation email may have arrived in your spam folder.

You can make a booking for groups of 8 or more via our website under the ‘Big Groups’ tab. Please note we open bookings 37 days in advance of a date at 9am. If the date and time is unavailable, it means we’re fully booked. For big groups we only offer set menus, priced from £62 per person. You can check it out under the ‘Group Bookings’ tab.

We’re sorry amici, but for food safety reasons we cannot allow guests to bring their own cake/ alcoholic beverages, we do not offer cakeage. It is possible to order a whole tiramisù for your birthday, priced at £X. You can add a note to your booking or send an email to edmondo.london@bigmamma.com
Yes children/babies are welcome! Just ask your waiter for a high chair if you need one.
All our vegan and vegetarian dishes will be labelled with (VEG) and (V) on our menu. All gluten low dishes will be labelled as ‘GL’. Please note we do not offer gluten free pasta (really sorry!) Common allergens are labelled on our menus, but please bear in mind dishes can contain traces of allergens and gluten. For a more extensive list, please ask your waiter!
